Leg Pain

Leg Pain

WHAT IS CAUSING MY LEG PAIN?

When your legs hurt, do you search for relief by rubbing them or using hot/cold compresses to soothe the ache? If your pain is mild, this may work as a temporary relief. But if your pain is severe or gets worse, a trip to one of our clinics may be in order. It may be time to come see us if you are experiencing any of the following with your leg pain:

  • Broken blood vessels
  • Bruising
  • Muscle spasms
  • Severe / sharp pain that does not go away
  • Swelling
  • Weakness

With the amount of work we put our legs through, it’s no surprise that they suffer from time to time. From sports activities, weight lifting, running or walking, the pain from muscle overuse will often stop us in our tracks. Leg pain can be the result of several factors that include but are not limited to:

  • Blood clots in the leg(s)
  • Growing pains (common in children)
  • Inflamed tendons
  • Muscle cramps
  • Shin splints
  • Torn muscles
